How does everyone feel about oatmeal as a post workout recovery meal? Today I had a cup of oats, a cup of cottage cheese, handful of berries and a scoop of whey protein and felt pretty good afterwards. I have been eating primarily eggs and fruit after workouts but I felt better after eating the oats.

Oats with berries is decent carbs, and the cottage cheese and whey gives you more than enough protein. So overall pretty good post workout nutrition.
