    Planche pushup pain

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.I'd like to ask for advice regarding a rather persistent problem.I have a stable planche, and I believe im able to progress to more difficult levels such as the planche pushup (straddle in my case). My problem is that whenever i lower myself and then start to press up I feel a sharp pain in my left forearm. It feels as if one of those many muscles in the forearm were hurt, so i cant perform the exercise without pain. This isn't the type of pain deep inside the forearm that everyone encounters when going for the planche variations, my arms already got used to that.I can also "activate" this pain by trying to perform backlever pullups, or left handed one arm pullups with the palms facing away from me. Thank you for any kind of advice in advance.

    Freestanding Headstand Pushup Help

Hey GB, So I'm working on Headstand Pushups freestanding. I can do them all day "against a wall" in the bastardized Crossfit fashion - in fact can crank out over 20 strict, so strength isn't the issue, it's balance. I'm still working on handstands, now am just working on good alignment against the wall, wall runs, etc - i can nail a 10-15s freestanding handstand every now and then (i know, nothing to write home about). That being said, are my attempts at a freestanding HeSPU in vain? or can someone give me some pointers? What i'm concentrating on at the bottom is to maintain that slight lean, PPT, squeeze glutes, then start to cant vertically and press out. I can get to the top, but I either fall out of position at the top, or when I'm lowering. Anybody else have similar issues? Fixes or drills that worked? Thanks!

    Pulled Back Muscle Mid HS

Hi Everyone, I will warn you, I am new to GB, so please excuse me if I'm not posting in the correct place. However, I'd really appreciate some advice/help with an issue I'm dealing with currently. I am not a member of any gymnastics gym, I do all my training at home on my own setup. TODAY, I was going about my regular HS training, I'm currently working on building strength in HSPU to incorporating wall assisted HSPU, which has worked very well for me! I've seen significant progress! As I finished my second working set I was descending from the HS by walking away from the wall and then dropping my feet when I have enough space to do so. IMMEDIATELY I felt a sharp pain right off my spine on my left side. It was pain enough to make me say OW and cringe, and following it was a slight burning sensation, but it went away rather fast. After resting I tried the same set again. Executing the movements correctly and then the same thing happened on the descending motion. I'm hoping someone might share some thoughts on what this is. I'm experienced in gymnastics and bodyweight training however, I've never dealt with something like this before. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Train Hard Eat Smart Live Happy
